This policy explains what data is collected when you visit blog.thitainfo.com (“the blog”), which is run by ThitaInfo. The blog has no accounts, comments or sign-up forms, so we do not ask you for personal information.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

The blog shows ads served by Google AdSense.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page speed. According to Vercel's documentation:

  • Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies. Visitors are identified by a hash created from the incoming request, and a visitor session is discarded after 24 hours.
  • Web Analytics may record the page address, the referring page, filtered query parameters, approximate location (country, region, city), device type, operating system and browser.
  • Speed Insights records performance measurements (Core Web Vitals) with the page, network speed, browser, device type, operating system and country. Vercel states this data is not tied to any individual visitor or IP address.

Other services the blog uses

  • Hosting. The blog is hosted on Vercel. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and browser details when you load a page.
  • Diagrams. Some articles load the Mermaid diagram library from the jsDelivr CDN, which receives a standard request from your browser.
  • Search. Site search runs in your browser. What you type is not sent to us.
  • Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service.
  • Share buttons are plain links. Nothing is sent to X, LinkedIn or WhatsApp unless you click one.

Data stored in your browser

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.

Links to other sites

Articles link to documentation and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Children

The blog is written for developers and is not directed at children under 13.
